Hermes with Unjailed AI

Create a free account, add wallet credit when ready, then create a key in the API tab. The human should create the account, fund it and enter their own key.

1. 01Select a custom endpoint

   Install Hermes using its official instructions, run hermes model, and select the custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Enter the base URL and your own key in the local setup prompts.

2. 02Or merge the YAML settings

   Merge this into ~/.hermes/config.yaml. Store UNJAILED_API_KEY in the private ~/.hermes/.env file; enter your own key there. Do not overwrite the rest of an existing config.

3. 03Restart the active client

   Restart Hermes, and restart its Telegram gateway after a configuration change. Auxiliary vision or other services have separate capabilities and configuration; this API accepts text. For a 503, check /status and try another available model rather than repeating indefinitely.

Use an exact ID from the model directory. Check live status if a model is unavailable. Uncensored models work through compatible API clients and the CLI; web chat uses standard models. Requests spend wallet credit at the published rates.
